After a long career in Management and Employment Relations, including 10 years as a Member and Chief of the Employment Relations Authority, I have now moved into semi-retirement and part time Employment Relations Consultancy. I have an expert knowledge of New Zealand employment relations and its practical application, both from my role as Chief of the Authority and experience in a range of employment relations and management positions. At various times during my career I have advised the Minister of Labour and M'BiE regarding employment legislation and played a major role in developing employment relations strategy, particularly in the health sector. I have extensive experience as a line manager and ER practitioner. Through this experience I developed a solid understanding of business imperatives. My hope is that I will be able to pass on some of the skills and experience I have accumulated over my career, while staying in touch with a field I am passionate about. I am particularly interested in assisting small and medium sized businesses to develop the skills and knowledge they require to be good employers.

We have been working with Nina for a few years now and she has been incredibly helpful with recruitment of new staff as well as our internal policies and managing issues that arise in the workplace. Nina has been a great sounding board and counsel, and her support has been invaluable.
